“Joshua and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two deceased friends as they were being made ready for the journey back,” Omotosho said.

A Tribute to the Fallen

Those who lost their lives were named as Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. It was also noted that the champion was filled with sorrow and deeply emotional over the tragic loss of his two close friends.”

His release from the hospital comes as the global fight fans had expressed sympathy for the fighter in the following the devastating accident.
